Art Therapy • Counselling • IFS-informed practice

Every person has a unique story. The therapeutic relationship begins by meeting people where they are, with curiosity, compassion and respect.

Art therapy and counselling are offered for adults, young people and families in the Shoalhaven and Southern Highlands. The approach is personalised for each individual and increasingly informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS), alongside an understanding of trauma, attachment and emotional experience.

Sessions may involve creative processes, talk therapy, or a combination of both. No art making experience is needed.

Art Therapy
Creative processes can offer another way to explore and express emotions, experiences and patterns that may be difficult to put into words.

Counselling + IFS
A compassionate approach to understanding emotions, relationships and the different parts of ourselves.

Individuals & Groups
Therapeutic support tailored to individual needs, alongside opportunities for creative exploration and connection in groups.

Kangaroo Valley Art Therapy acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of Country and their continuing connections to land, waters and community. Respect is paid to Elders past and present, and extended to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
